Follow up on homecoming

So as I told you about in my last blog, homecoming was last weekend. Everything went very smoothly. Friday night was the football game. Central High School played Wausau West, and they ended up losing by only two points. What a bummer. Actually, I didn’t really care, because I was more interested in watching the kids next to me get in trouble. Four students at Central were taken away one at a time by the police. Everyone wondered where they were going, and what they did. Later we found out that all four of them got drinking tickets, and were suspended for three days. Even though that kind of exciting to watch, I had other things to worry about. Homecoming was the next day, and I was stressing a little because I worked until five o’clock, then I still had to shower, get my hair and makeup done, and be ready in time for pictures. My group decided to be annoying at the last minute, and they decided they no longer wanted to go to the Three Rivers Lodge for dinner, so we ended up just going to TGI Fridays. Dinner was still delicious though, so I couldn’t complain. After this we all headed for the dance. There were tons and tons of kids there. I couldn’t believe how many people they could pack into that gym. It felt like it must have been over 100 degrees in there. It was a lot of fun to be able to go back for a dance, because that is one part of High School that I actually have missed. When the dance ended, my friends and I went over to one of my other friend’s house and just hung out for a while. It was a very eventful weekend, but I got no sleep at all. I’m still totally exhausted. Hopefully I’ll get to bed a little earlier tonight so I’ll have some energy for school tomorrow.

My homecoming dance was a blast also. I was on court for that and I had the time of my life! I'm glad you had fun.
